QA T., Houston, TX

024 Grille for Houston Restaurant Weeks.  I’ve been here twice for HRW already.

Convenient location if you’re in the Memorial City area for some reason.  Complimentary valet or self-parking.  Once you’re inside, it feels like a different place.  Modern. Sleek. Spacious.  There’s a cool bar area with a relaxing water wall.  The restaurant is open and contemporary.

The service was excellent both times.  HRW was first-class with ample food even for the biggest mouths (like me).  The Sauteed Shishito Peppers were delicious (huge portion), and the Shrimp Bisque is one of the best I’ve had.  The Flatbread and the Crab Cakes were delicious.  I had a bite of the Brick Oven Chicken, which was OK.  Then, the dessert was ridiculously tasty.  Had the Texas Sticky Toffee Pudding…both times I ate there this past week.
